Periodically, the Joint Commission will conduct unannounced accreditation surveys of The Meadows in order to evaluate the organization’s compliance with nationally established Joint Commission standards. The survey results determine whether accreditation should be awarded and if so, the conditions under which it will be awarded.
The Joint Commission standards deal with organization quality and safety-of-care issues, as well as the safety of the environment in which care and treatment services are provided.
If an individual has any concerns about patient care and safety, it is recommended to contact The Meadows and work with management to resolve the issue. If resolution cannot be reached through work with The Meadows’ management, individuals may contact the Joint Commission.
The public may contact the Joint Commission’s Office of Quality Monitoring to report any concerns or register complaints about a Joint Commission accredited healthcare organization by calling 1-800-994-6610 or sending an email to [email protected].
This notice is posted in accordance with the Joint Commission’s requirements and may not be removed.
