Expanding the skills of mental health and addiction professionals
For more than 45 years, The Meadows trauma treatment program has been helping those struggling with emotional trauma to heal and learn the skills necessary to cope with the devastating, and often hidden, effects of trauma. Our intensive, professional development workshops, are designed to help mental health and addiction professionals gain additional skills and insights for effectively treating their clients.
This weekend workshop facilitated by NARM founder Dr. Laurence Heller, PhD explores the connection between what happened in the past and symptoms that people experience as adults due to survival styles and coping mechanisms that have outlived their usefulness.
An immersive weekend workshop curated to support diversity and inclusivity among white and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) participants that uses group discussion, somatic awareness, and personal reflection to explore this embodied anti-racist practice and process of culture building.
The more you know about yourself, the better equipped you are to engage in healthy relationships and move through life with a positive, healthy sense of self.
